
Agartala, Sept 06: Tripura Gramin Bank organised a Vigilance Awareness Programme today as part of the ongoing three-month Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026, being observed from 17 August to 16 November 2026, under the theme “Probity for Prosperity.”
The programme was graced by Sankari Das, Secretary, Law Department, Government of Tripura, as the distinguished guest, along with senior officials and employees of Tripura Gramin Bank.
Addressing the gathering, the Chairman, Tripura Gramin Bank, Satyendra Singh emphasized that integrity, transparency and accountability are the foundations of public trust and sustainable institutional growth.
He highlighted that vigilance should not be viewed merely as a mechanism for detecting irregularities, but as a preventive approach aimed at strengthening systems, improving processes and promoting ethical decision-making.
Anup Kumar Saha, General Manager, in his closing remarks urged all employees to uphold the highest standards of integrity, follow due processes, safeguard customer interests and remain committed to transparent and accountable banking practices.
He further observed that the message of “Probity for Prosperity” is simple yet profound: integrity builds trust, trust builds confidence, and confidence leads to sustainable prosperity.
The Vigilance Awareness Campaign will culminate in Vigilance Awareness Week from 26 October to 1 November 2026. Tripura Gramin Bank reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, accountability and good governance across the organisation.
